    Welcome to Happy Tails and Floppy Ears.  We are the Agate family, and we would like to welcome you to our farm.  We have been caring for family dogs, since 2008.   We started our sitting service when our dog, Eddie, was asked not to return to the kennel we  used, because of his destructive behaviour, he had developed severe kennel stress after his companion passed away.

     We welcome dogs who need alternative care, we have had terrific success with the family worry wart, and of course, non-worry warts

alike. . . .            

    We offer your furry pal the companionship, and a stress free stay he has been waiting for !

    We have a 3/4 of an acre - fenced play area , this allows  your pal to romp and wrestle with freedom !  We offer walks through the woods & adventure on our 50 acre farm for our off leash dogs - who can safely enjoy the taste of freedom.

 We like to squeeze in a little swimming in our seasonal ponds and some tennis to round out the day . . . . .

   Our farm is located 15 minutes west of Hyde Park, in Poplar Hill, or 10 minutes North of Strathroy.  We are 5 minutes from the 402 Hickory Drive access at the Strathroy exit.

        RATES:  DAY CAMP          $16   A  DAY         

                       VACATIONS        $ 27   A DAY       

           WE ACCEPT CASH, PERSONAL CHEQUES, ETRANSFERS

 Now, please remember, FUN is a DIRTY business, so please do not be surprised or offended that your dog may be dirty when you pick him up.  We do try to rinse the crust off, but sometimes we are just too busy having fun .  .  .  .

 WE  DO  OFFER A WASH AND BRUSH PACKAGE - IF YOU WOULD

 LIKE YOUR PAL SPRUCED UP BEFORE THEY HEAD HOME !

 PLEASE PUT A FLAT COLLAR ON YOUR PAL WHEN HE COMES TO PLAY - CHOKE CHAINS CAN BECOME TWISTED IN THE JAW OF A PAL.

     We try our best to offer families flexible pick up and delivery times, we know travelling does not always coincide with traditional kennel hours, and we would like to help out with that.  We do ask for  drop off and pick up times & are happy to work with you .   

                         DROP OFFS             NO LATER than 6pm

          the dogs need time to be walked and settled in before bed .  .  .

             PICK UPS    are arranged on an individual basis . . .

    Before booking your pals' vacation, we ask you bring your dog for a visit.  It is important your dog is happy here and is comfortable with the other dogs . You only need to bring your dogs food, enough for his stay, and a pillow.

      We require proof of up to date vaccinations + kennel cough.

      We offer our services to spayed and neutered dogs only.
